Deaths from drowning for children less than age five in Florida are more than double the national average and are higher than any other state in the nation. More than two-thirds of these deaths occurred in swimming pools.
Our unique swimming program greatly reduces the risk of drowning.
Water Wise has been teaching children as young as 6 months through adult for over twenty years. Water Wise teaches a child centered philosophy which means that we believe in a gentle and positive approach while rewarding the children with praise and applause. Our number one priority is to make sure your child is safe and can have a positive experience in their swimming class.
We offer year round swimming classes throughout Southwest Florida.
All teachers are W.S.I. certified. That means all teachers are certified through the American Red Cross on how to teach children life saving techniques and swimming skills.
After your children feel confident and know water safety skills, they can participate in our swim team program offered to children 3 years and older. The swim team children continuously practice and review previously learned techniques as well as being introduced to competition skills.
We also offer snorkeling; and when your children reach the age of 12, they can be certified for scuba diving.
